PUKASKWA NATIONAL PARK COASTAL TRAIL
still climbing
I hiked the coastal trail of Pukaskwa with three friends last August. We were all excited to do it, being experienced hikers with a real appreciation for the coast of Lake Superior, and none of us had seen the coast north of Wawa. This was going to be the longest hike I had done since it required five days to the end, then you had to turn around and five days out. We would travel over 120 kilometers in nine days when it was over.
It turned out to be the hardest physical thing I've done in my life.
"This trek will take one million steps..."
